Billing that gets the tax right
Klinira applies service tax by patient citizenship, keeps the consultation fee on its own line so the exemption survives, and produces a MyInvois batch file you upload in one action instead of keying up to 55 fields per invoice.

Bill — Nguyen Van Minh · non-Malaysian

Citizenship is captured at registration for a reason
Service tax on private healthcare applies to non-Malaysian patients. That means the decision is made long before the bill — at the counter, when the patient is registered. Klinira captures it there and carries it through, so the biller is never guessing at the end of a busy morning.
The consultation fee stays on its own line
The exemption depends on the consultation charge appearing separately from other treatment charges on the same invoice. Klinira will not merge it into a package total, even when a clinic asks for a single tidy line, because that one tidy line is what costs the exemption.
Rates are dated rules, not numbers in the code
Tax rates change and thresholds move. In Klinira each rate is a dated rule with an effective period, so an old invoice keeps the rate that applied when it was raised, and a rate change is a configuration update rather than a software rewrite.
Rolling twelve-month turnover is watched against the registration threshold, so a clinic approaching it is told before it crosses rather than after.
e-Invoice without the typing
Validation runs when the bill is finalised, so a missing TIN or an malformed identifier surfaces while the patient is still at the counter. At the end of the period you generate a MyInvois batch file and upload it. Direct API submission is not in version 1, and we say so plainly.
Common questions
Is my clinic even in scope for e-Invoice?
Scope is phased by annual turnover. Smaller clinics are brought in later than large ones. Klinira produces the file regardless, so the answer changing does not mean changing software.
Do you give tax advice?
No. Klinira applies the rules as configured and shows its working. Responsibility for the return stays with your clinic and your accountant.
Watch it survive an outage
Leave your details and we will show you the clinic running with the network cable pulled out — registering patients, writing notes, printing labels.
